Hello, I am Eric Rohr, the owner of Assisting Hands Richmond, I want to share my story as to why I started this walk team and why I am walking and raising money to End Alzheimer’s. Assisting Hands Richmond cares for individuals that are living with dementia every day. As we provide care and support we witness first hand the challenges that dementia creates for both the individual and the family. While dementia is both progressive and ultimately terminal it does not mean that individuals and families living with dementia cannot continue to have meaningful, fulfilling and long lives. Alzheimer’s is a form of dementia and the Alzheimer’s Association is the organization leading the charge to end Alzheimer’s. They provide funding for education, caregiver support and research with the goal to end Alzheimer’s. Assisting Hands Home Care Richmond has formed a Walk to End Alzheimer’s Team and would love you to join us to meet our fund raising goal of $2,500. Thank you for your support.
